Before you book

Check-in is 15 minutes before your walk departs, and walks leave strictly on time. If you’re late and we’ve gone, your booking is forfeit and non-refundable – so build in buffer for the gravel road.

Weather & cancellations

We may cancel the day before for safety – check our Facebook page or this website the night before your walk. If we cancel, you’re rebooked or refunded in full. If you cancel: 7+ days out, full refund minus a $5 per-person admin fee; 4–6 days, 50% refund; 3 days or less, no refund.

Pricing

$50 adults · $25 children 17 and under. Same pricing for the self-drive 4WD convoy option.

The season

Walks run daily from Labour Weekend through to Easter, approximately – river levels permitting. New-season bookings open in early September.

Wondering what to wear?

Closed-toe shoes that can get soaked, shorts for the river, warm clothes for afterwards – and a hiking pole if your balance needs a friend. The full rundown lives on our FAQ page.
